About me
As a school support specialist with the Oklahoma State Department of Education, Shawna Lancaster partners with school leaders to move school improvement work beyond compliance and into meaningful, practical change. Before stepping into state-level support, she served as a classroom teacher and principal. This background continues to shape the way she thinks about turnaround work, leadership data, and the day-to-day realities schools face. Shawna is pursuing an Ed.D. in rural educational leadership, with a focus on systems thinking and improved outcomes for rural schools.
