About me
Lori Vandeborne, Virginia state co-lead, brings 6 years of extensive subject matter expertise within the Comprehensive Center network to her role on the Appalachian Comprehensive Center. As a licensed superintendent, principal, special educator, and instructional coach, Lori approaches technical assistance with a practitioner’s lens and a strong commitment to adult learning. In her current role, she aims to advance workforce readiness and workplace learning experiences through aligned partnerships and strategic frameworks; strengthen coherence for instructional improvement and program implementation, honoring local context to impact school improvement efforts; and provide guidance to help educators translate policy into usable, sustainable, and effective practices.
