About me
Lacy Wood provides technical assistance to the Gulf Comprehensive Center’s Florida and Mississippi chronic absenteeism projects and the Alabama family and community engagement project. She also works with Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Central, supporting their training, coaching, and TA projects across the region, along with their North Dakota Reading Partnership and dissemination. Lacy provides coaching support for the Colorado Department of Education on family and community partnerships and has led a community of practice of family engagement state educational agency leaders since 2012. Previously, she served as the REL Southwest Dissemination Lead (2018–2025) and was the associate director for the National Family Engagement Center, providing technical assistance to the Department of Education’s Statewide Family Engagement Centers program.
