About me
Dr. Kevin S. Carroll is a professor in the College of Education at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, where his research and teaching focus on bilingual education, language policy, and literacy development. He leads collaborative initiatives with the Puerto Rico Department of Education and the Islands Comprehensive Center to strengthen early literacy instruction, instructional leadership, and PK–1 literacy implementation across Puerto Rico. Through his scholarship, professional development, and statewide partnerships, Kevin is committed to advancing bilingual, evidence-based literacy practices that improve outcomes for multilingual learners.
