Dr. Karen Anderson has been in the field of education for 40 years. With a passion for developing a growth mindset for learning in general and mathematics in particular, she is honored to serve as the director of the Office of Mathematics Improvement at the Alabama State Department of Education. Her background includes service as a teacher, principal, curriculum director, and school improvement administrator.
