About me
Jill Nogueras has been with the Virginia Department of Education for 10 years and serves as the associate director of K–12 English and Literacy in the Office of Instruction. She provides strategic oversight and support for K–12 English and literacy, instruction, standards, and the implementation of the Virginia Literacy Act. Jill is a member of many state and national English education organizations. She thrives in an environment where she can work with students and educators across the Commonwealth, collaborate with education leaders nationwide, and improve outcomes for the people she supports daily.
