About me
Jack Schwarz, the School Improvement Project lead at the National Comprehensive Center (NCC), has nearly 15 years of experience designing capacity-building technical assistance that helps state educational agencies (SEAs) leverage Every Student Succeeds Act flexibilities to strengthen district-led school improvement. His work spans coaching SEA leaders on school accountability and support, helping states develop federally approved consolidated state plans and evidence-based practice guides, and leading communities of practice, including one that built the capacity of 13 SEA teams to support districts’ effective use of federal recovery funds. Jack also serves as co-deputy director of the Gulf Comprehensive Center, providing intensive technical assistance to the Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi departments of education, and is part of the NCC’s Learning Agenda coaching team supporting Georgia.
